Hays education is currently working with a secondary school in the Wigan area to fill a Computer Science/Business Studies teaching job with an after Easter start. This role will continue until the end of the summer term and will see the successful candidate paid to scale from day one. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for their next role as this also has the potential to turn permanent.
Your new role
For this job role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about this subject and will strive to meet the needs of their pupils. In this role, you will be a qualified Computer Science/Business Studies Specialist and have experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4. You should create engaging and challenging lessons for your pupils to push them to reach their potential. You will be required to assess and track pupil progress, adapting your lessons to suit any additional needs of the pupils.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. This could be a perfect role for an NQT/ECT that is looking to gain some experience working within a high school environment.What you'll get in return
