An exciting opportunity has arisen with for a Business Support Officer to join our team.
We pride ourselves in supporting unemployed individuals into employment. We work with a network of employers and agencies to assist them to recruit candidates into their available roles through upskilling and training. This means that candidates have the most up to date knowledge and skills to be able to progress into sustainable employment.
We are looking for a passionate individual to work within our training team to liaise with candidates who may need extra support to get them to interview. This could be assisting further with CV preparation, helping to upload information to employer induction and onboarding platforms, or simply giving them advice and support around employment opportunities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with candidates to identify and support with barriers into employment.
- Presenting Interview Techniques sessions remotely and other sessions that have been identified to support learners including effective job search.
- Support candidates with CV improvements.
- Support candidates through the job application process.
- Liaise with employers when appropriate for feedback and support,
- Working closely with the Business Development Team to identify suitable employment opportunities to progress candidates into work.
