We are looking for an experienced Business Support Assistant for our clients who are based at Tees Dock in Southbank Middlesbrough. This role is a permanent position working part time 3 days per week (flexible with the days)
Your duties will include:
- organising company events and conferences
- ordering stationery and IT equipment
- dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries
- preparing letters, presentations and reports
- processing invoices and managing office budgets
- implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
- organising induction programmes for new employees
- attending meetings with senior management
- assisting the organisation's HR and finance functions by keeping personnel records up to date, arranging interviews and updating financial documents.
The ideal candidate will:
- have experience setting up systems and processes
- be confident in working in a male dominant environment ideally in a site office
- have the ability to work closely with the MD and manage their workload
- have some sales administration experience, used to processing orders over the phone and email along with using in-house CRM systems
- be able to confidently manage the office, no people to manage just the office itself
- have excellent IT skills
Due to the location candidates must have their own transport as it is not accessible by public transport
