Business Support Officer

Your new role
They are looking for a confident and well presented individual who can organise their own workload and work to deadlines.
You will be required to build relationships with businesses, partners and the wider team, so you must be able to communicate effectively. You will be driven and hard working with a can-do attitude, and you will be the public face for the organisation and represent the brand.
Working as a part of a small, tight-knit team where everyone has a role to play - so strong teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal skills are a must. As is the ability to role your sleeves up to get things done.
You will manage a caseload of circa 130 businesses, visiting each one at least once a month. You will log any interaction on the CRM database and you will be set targets on your engagement with businesses.
The role requires you to work from various locations. You will also organise regular networking talks with businesses and occasional work to transport equipment. Working on marketing materials and staff indoor and outdoor events during the evenings and weekends will also be required (approx 1 in 6 weekends).
What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent customer service or sales experience.
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office - including Excel
Excellent communication skills and the ability to have difficult conversations
Ability to work on multiple ongoing projects and work beyond your regular job role
Ability to maintain relationships and have a proactive approach
Be passionate about Nottingham
The ideal candidate will come from a Hospitality/Leisure or Retail background
What you'll get in return
This is a permanent role.
40 hours per week. This role is based in Nottingham city centre on a full-time basis, with flexibility on working hours over 7 days to
Cover events and activities (eg: 1 in 6 weekends). This role is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
£24400 per annum - Healthcare, paid charity days, your birthday off, health and wellness activities, flexible working, phone and laptop
