About the Role
We are seeking a Business Systems Support Analyst to join our IT Business Systems Support team in our Leighton Buzzard office. You will work closely with our Senior Analysts and act as their 2^nd point of contact for more complex business area and applications that they are responsible for.
Key responsibilities of the Business Systems Support Analyst:
- Remain current and up to date on the applications within your area, understanding the business landscape and development roadmap
- Identify key trends, collaborate with Problem Management and identify opportunities for Service Desk
- Triage, identify and resolve incidents escalated from Service Desk, 1^st Line, and 2^nd Line
- Fulfil standard service requests for the applications in your area
- Process and coordinate timely responses to incident reports
- Resolve both reactive and proactive problems throughout the information system lifecycle, including classification, prioritization, initiation of action, documentation of root causes, and implementation of remedies to prevent future incidents.
- Provide application maintenance and support services directly to users or service delivery functions.
- Collaborate with system developers and colleagues in different areas, such as Database administration or Network support, is often required
Experience & skills required to be successful as a Business Systems Support Analyst:
Essential
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst working in a technical environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft products to support/enable analytical activity and for presentation material
- Ability to interact well with both business and technical resources at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Property industry experience
