As the Business Analyst Team Lead will be positioned within the IT department, coordinating a team of Business Analysts, managing resources and providing an effective and proactive link between the IT teams and business
Minimum five years’ experience in a Business Analyst within the Legal Sector
Must have experience of Legal Case / Practice Management systems
The ability to tailor communication style based on stakeholder.management. You will ensure IT processes and policies are applied and under quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of documentation and deliverables whilst working in collaboration with the IT Teams, Operational Managers, and the Finance department to understand and deliver successful business solutions.
You will be responsible for leadership and supervision of the Business Analyst team, including supporting and developing individuals, as well as the development and implementation of BA procedures and best practice.
What will you be doing?
Collaboratively work with IT teams and internal stakeholders to understand business strategies, risks, and impacts, ensuring shared awareness and understanding across teams.
Day-to-day management of Business Analysts, including team meetings, performance and absence management, and evaluation of training and development needs. Drive a no surprises approach to management and reporting of issues.
Develop and drive adoption of tools, templates, and processes for effective decision-making and business analysis planning.
Coordination of BA Team activities, including workload and quarterly PI planning, time estimations and activity tracking across release trains.
Supporting the Strategy and Architecture team with the review and refinement of submissions through the firm’s ideation pipeline platform. Collaborating with business stakeholders ensuring solutions have considered business, client, resource & cost impact, and long-term scalability.
Supporting the Head of Strategy and Architecture and Head of Software Engineering with the development of new working practices, driving continuous improvement across all teams.
Monitor the market for new technologies, developing training materials, and enhancing stakeholder efficiency with current tools, ensuring HF remains in line with best practice across the industry and the wider market trends.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Experience of working alongside technical teams following agile delivery methodologies.
We would like it if you have the below desirable skills:
Experience of Legal Case Management systems, ideally Sharedo or Visual Files.
Experience of Legal Practice Management systems, ideally Aderant.
Experience of requirements gathering products, ideally Jira and Miro.
Exposure to the SAFe Scaled Agile Framework.
Exposure to Legal and/or Insurance Sectors.
