Description
The Business Unit Manager - CE / General Merchandise will;
- lead, inspire and develop a team of national account managers building an efficient and high-performing team.
- oversee and develop key relationships with customers.
- be an active member of the SLT, focusing on vision, strategy and business development plans for the UK business.
- work closely with the marketing functions to develop launch plans, develop new business opportunities and maximise trade marketing activity.
- understand and embrace digital know-how and position my client as a true leader in digital content.
- strive to make my client the strategic partner of choice for the major customers
- oversee and ensure accurate sales forecast for the relevant channel
Profile
The Business Unit Manager - CE / General Merchandise will come with the following skills and experiences;
- current or previous national accounts experience with the Top 4 grocers and / or specialist General Merchandise customers such as; John Lewis, Argos, Curry's, Costco, Amazon, Shop Direct etc.
- a strong understanding and passion for ecommerce and online customers
- proven people management experience and a passion for developing high-performing KAM or NAM teams
- very proactive and self-starter style attitude and approach
- someone with vision, strong strategic ability and passionate about business development and growing future opportunities
- strong organisational, presentation and analytical skills - happy to get into the detail when needed but flex up to look at the future also!
- able to commute min 3 days per week to the West London office location
Job Offer
£70,000 to £75,000 base salary, plus excellent bonus potential, car allowance, healthcare, pension.
