Form of workWe are recruiting a Buyer for a Multi Brand Retailer with an impressive portfolio of brands. They are looking for an experienced buyer to join the team and drive sourcing and product development initiatives to encourage continued business growth.
As the Buyer, you will be responsible for managing supplier performance, the critical path and the entire purchasing cycle.
In addition, as the Buyer, for this diverse group of brands, develop new product lines in line with the company strategy and utilise marketplace data to drive range extensions.
Manage the onboarding and negotiation of suppliers and undertake regular margin analysis and evaluation. Also, manage shipping of all PO’s, assess demand change and provide advice to procurement agents. Support QC to ensure Vendors are compliant.
To be considered, you should have at least 4-5 years Buying experience, ideally in hardlines, FMCG or lifestyle products. It is desirable the right candidate should already be an established Junior Buyer or Buyer.
Work efficiently and closely with all stakeholders. It is essential you are proactive, organised and have a high attention to detail.
