• This Senior Buyer Non Food is ideal for forward thinking individual, who has a passion for buying and enjoys negotiation and has experience gained from retail or hospitality
• Role is split 3 days in the office 2 days from home

The role:

• The successful Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance will manage designated categories focused on fixtures, fittings, equipment and services. They will have responsibility for sourcing products, negotiating and the end-to-end supply arrangement.
• As Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance you will source and benchmark suppliers, products and pricing and implement service-level agreements and contractual agreements with all suppliers.
• The Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance will work cross functionally with architects, quantity surveyors etc. to develop long term procurement plans for refurbishments, new builds and extensions
• Being a key member of the purchasing team, the Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance will be responsible for identifying improved purchasing opportunities across a range of products and suppliers
• The Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance will be accountable for monitoring and managing supply-chain risk, price volatility and suppliers’ performance, in accordance with agreed contracts, service-level agreements and KPIs

Ideal candidate:

• You will currently be working as a Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance within hospitality or retail within the UK and will have experience of buying fixtures, fittings, equipment etc
• It is essential that you can demonstrate a passion for buying and a flair for commerciality along with fantastic negotiation skills across complex negotiations
• Working as part of a team you must have excellent relationship building skills you will be able to communicate and influence with stakeholders.
• As Senior Buyer Property and Maintenance you must have good insight and data analysis skills and be able to action opportunities to drive improvement.
• You will have excellent project management, planning and organization skills and will be able to work independently on your own initiative, a self-starter with can-do attitude
