Salary – 26,000 – 35,000

Contract Type – Fulltime, Permanent position
Hours – Monday– Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (37.5 Hours per week)
The Role
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Buyer to work in a leading manufacturing company in their purchasing team. The Buyer performs a functional role in a regional setting to support the Bristol site with purchasing service strategy. This position will focus on the procurement of raw materials, semi–finished or finished goods and services from external sources of supply and will work to mitigate, or elevate where necessary, supplier quality, cost, and delivery issues.
The candidate is expected to pursue optimization of both cost of goods purchased and inventory availability through utilization of an organized approach that yields cost synergies, a focus on supplier management, and development of positive relationships with internal & external (supplier) stakeholders. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of ERP system/Material Requirements Planning and disciplined execution abilities within the purchasing function.
Skills of Buyer will include:Experience using SAP for materials planningNegotiationAdvanced skills with Excel based on level of experience
