Basic Salary £45,000 to £50,000
The Role - Buyer, Scientific Instrumentation
Our client is looking to recruit a Buyer responsible for:
Issuing purchase orders
Ongoing procurement operations with all relevant suppliers: suppliers and internal customers
Identifying opportunities for proactive and effective streamlining processes
Analysis of market trends to identify potential suppliers and alternatives
Managing relationships with suppliers
Leading cost reduction projects
Negotiating commercial contracts and engagements
Your Background - Buyer, Scientific Instrumentation
To succeed in this varied and exciting role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
MCIPS or studying towards it
Commercial procurement experience
Assertiveness and commercial negotation abilities
High mastery of Excel
Experience with SAP is advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
