Our Reputable fashion client are currently looking for a Buying assistant to join the company on a Fixed Term Basis (Maternity cover) for around 9-12months!
Main Responsibilities of the Buying Assistant
- Provide administration support to the Footwear and Accessories Buyer
- Collation of reports and sales information
- Critical path management
- Working cross functionally with internal departments to ensure smooth running of the day to day buying function
- Management of samples and the image bank
- Competitor analysis in line with buyer requirements
- Awareness of upcoming trends
- Working closely with the supplier base to support buyer on day to day duties
- Support buyer in prep for any product meeting – samples and report production
- Liaise with internal photography studio on all samples dates for e-com photography and ensure all deadline are met and all samples shot.
Experience and Skills required
- You will be either a graduate with a degree in fashion buying or an existing Buying Assistant.
- You should be passionate about product and product development and have great attention to details and strong communication skills.
- You must be organised and proactive with great time management and communication skills.
