Blue Yonder WMS Discrete Consultant. (BY WMS Discrete Optimisation and Configuration)
We need a contract Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System Discrete Consultant to be the client's SME on Blue Yonder (BY WMS) while they implement and optimise the Blue Yonder WMS Discrete.
Working with the end clients' BY WMS super users, stakeholders and external third parties, you will need to have in-depth experience in the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management system (BY WMS) Discrete to be able to assist the end client in post implementation, configuration, troubleshooting and optimisation of the Blue Yonder WMS Discrete. You will also liaise with implementation partners to make sure the ongoing work is done correctly.

Start Date: ASAP.
Duration. 3 months + renewals
Location: Hybrid 4 days a week in the client office in West Midlands, the rest remote.
Rate: Negotiable c 500 - 600 per day, subject to experience.
Duties :

• Configure Blue Yonder WMS Discrete implementation to optimise warehouse operations and meet client expectations.
• Customise and enhance Blue Yonder WMS Discrete functionalities through configuration, scripting, and integration with other systems.
• Create BY WMS Discrete routines tailored to business requirements, enhancing automation and efficiency.
• Resolve defects, production support issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimise business disruptions.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Review BY WMS Discrete set up to high-quality standards and best practices.

Skills . You will need in-depth, proven experience in the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Discrete suite and have worked, for example, as either a Functional Consultant, BY WMS Application support, Blue Yonder Administration, (or a BY Solutions Architect) on Blue Yonder Discrete (BY WMS) product set, able to troubleshoot, optimise and configure Blue Yonder to the end clients' plans.
Experience ideally in one of the following BY WMS Discrete specialities a plus, Inbound Returns / Replenishment / WLM
You need good communication skills, stakeholder management, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work with external suppliers to ensure the work is carried out correctly and on time.
