This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, backend-focused C# Developer, to join an established eCommerce development team within this household name charity, working on a fully remote basis.

The Role

The C# Developer / Software Developer will be instrumental in helping to further develop the back end and integrations for a highly-visible, modern, cloud-based online shop using the latest technologies, libraries and design patterns.

Working with Project Managers, business customers and others within the eCommerce Delivery team to deliver highly complex and bespoke enterprise cloud solutions, the C# Developer / Software Developer will be responsible for aiding in the design and build of both web and integration solutions with significant focus given to high capacity, high availability, secure, geo-resilient design patterns within modern cloud architecture.

The focus of the C# Developer / Software Developer role will be more towards the backend, with an initial focus on integration and services.  The stack focus will be on C#.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server and Azure

What Experience do I need?

• Technical expertise focused on C# and .NET, including .NET Core
• Strong backend skills
• SQL Server
• Experience of working with APIs
• Experience of cloud technologies, preferably Azure
