We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of various projects in fields such as architecture, engineering, and construction.
Duties:
- Utilize CAD software to create accurate and detailed 2D technical drawings.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Interpret sketches, blueprints, and other design documents to develop precise drawings.
- Incorporate design changes and modifications as necessary throughout the drafting process.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drawings.
- Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to identify any errors or discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD
- Strong technical drawing skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Ability to interpret complex design documents and translate them into accurate drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any design issues or conflicts.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CAD Technician or similar role is preferred.
- A degree or certification in drafting or interior design
