Think Recruitment are supporting our client to recruit a CAD Technician / Technical Assistant to join their team.
They are a family run contractor specialising in shopfitting delivering projects nationally working with household name clients.
The CAD Technician / Technical Assistant will support the Technical Manager and project delivery staff to ensure high standards for their retail clients.
This is a chance to learn progress to a more senior role within the technical team.
About The Role
- You will work closely and liaise with the Project Managers on all projects, helping to meet the client's needs and expectations.
- Produce working drawings and designs; ensure all setting out works are to a high standard.
- Prepare system drawings for internal and external use.
- Distribute drawings within agreed time scales to the Client Team, using current company templates and procedures.
- Maintain clean, tidy and organised office and files, keeping full records of all setting out and CAD works.
- Office based role; working Monday - Friday 8.30-5.00
About The Candidate
- Understanding and capability within joinery
- Ability to create drawings
- Auto CAD software experience is preferred but can be taught
- Enthusiastic, self-starter with ability to prioritise
- Displays strong leadership skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- PC literate
- Commercially aware
- Due to location you must have a driving licence and your own vehicle.
