Candidates should have a SVQ 3 & HNC H&SC supporting children and young people or equivalent or working towards this. We will support you to undertake your SVQ 4 in Leadership and Management should you wish to progress. You must have worked in a residential environment and have sound knowledge of legislative frameworks that influence our practice. You must have an awareness of regulations. The ability to implement, care plans and risk assessments advantageous. You must also possess basic IT skills.
You will be working as part of a team providing quality care to young people. Working collaboratively and in partnership with parents/carers and a wide range of other professional personnel in meeting the needs of young people placed in our care.
You must hold a valid full driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes.
The position involves working shift patterns including week-ends and requires you to complete sleep-ins.

- For Qualified staff (SVQ3 or higher) the referrer will receive £600 bonus and the new member of staff will receive a £300 Welcome Bonus after 3 months. After 6 months the referrer will receive an additional £600 bonus.
