Cafe Assistant

The Greenhouse Tearoom within Vertigrow garden centre.

We are looking for Waiting staff to join our small and friendly team

• The Greenhouse tearoom is a garden centre café that serves barista coffees, homemade bread and cakes, breakfast and a seasonal lunch menu in a relaxed atmosphere.

This job role includes:

• Beingfriendly, presentable, reliable and positive.
• Coping under pressure.
• Be able to work well in a team as well as alone.
• Be able to think on your feet
• Maintaining high standard of cleanliness in the tearoom.
• Helping with kitchen duties.
• Taking orders efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to easily and quickly handle cash and card payments.
• Greeting and seating customers.
• Making and serving a range of drinks.
• Running food and clearing tables.

Equal share of tips, zero hour contract, variety of shift patterns offered, weekend availability is essential.

Own transport is essential as we are not on a bus route.
