Job description


  • Job Title:Home Claims Triage Handler - Call Handler first point of contact

  • Pay Rate:£13.14 per hour

  • Duration:Initially 3 Months with the possibility of being extended

  • Working Pattern/Hours: Centre opening hours: Mon - Friday 8am-8pm & Saturday Sunday 8am-6pm
    rotational shift patterns issued.
    Shift pattern will include 1 full weekend shift every 7 weeks (8am-6pm - with shorter shifts and rest days in week before/after), 10 x late shifts (12-8pm) over a 14 week period, 10 x 8am-4pm shifts over a 7 week period. Other shifts would be 9am to 5pm.

Day to Day



  • These roles are similar to a switchboard - you will be responsible for directing inbound calls to the correct area of the business - enhancing the customers experience and saving valuable customers from a long or unnecessary wait, improving customer satisfaction

  • A busy Call Centre which will see approximately 100. 2 minute calls coming through each day. You must be enthusiastic and ready to speak on the telephone for the majority of your shift!


What we'd like from you



  • Recent customer service experience, transferable skills or examples of your customer service skill set

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language

  • IT and computer usage confidence

  • Empathetic & Understanding nature to enhance the customers satisfaction
