Call Centre Sales - Senior Manager

An exciting opportunity to join an established, and continually growing organisation in a Senior Sales management position.
With support from the Operations and Regional Sales Directors who work across three other Call Centres, the successful candidate will directly manage the Leeds sales team consisting of 10x Sales Team Leaders, and indirectly their teams of 100 outbound call centre Sales Advisors.
Responsibilities:
- Sales, People, and Operational leadership and management of the busy Call Centre in Leeds.
- Direct management of 10x Sales Team Managers and indirectly 100 Sales Advisors.
- Act as the most Senior Salesperson and Lead within the Leeds Call Centre, liaising with regional Call Centre sales leaders.
- Leading from the front and able to pivot between strategic tasks and sitting with the teams.
- Driving high performance and developing individual Sales Managers.
- Working in partnership with Directors of Sales, Operations, CS, HR, and L&D.
- Work with senior management to embed new Call Centre and CRM technologies.
- Foster a positive, fun, and motivated team culture.
- Manage the analysis and reporting of sales metrics for senior management.
- Demonstrate ability to manage through change and growth of the business.
- Support and foster continuous improvements across all sales activities within the Leeds Call Centre.
Skills & experience desired:
- Demonstrable experience managing and leading sales operations and large teams directly and indirectly.
- Proven sales managememt background with the ability to pivot between strategic and operational sales / Call Centre management tasks, and coaching Sales Managers/Advisors hands-on when needed.
- A people leader, experienced in performance management, HR, recruitment, and people development.
- Ability to inspire and develop Sales Managers, supporting them directly when needed.
- Highly organized and able to problem-solve with no direction and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrable experience developing and implementing sales improvements and managing through change.
- Call centre sales experience, ideally outbound teams.
- Experience in leading others through transformation periods such as new technology implementation, and high growth would be an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills. Experience liaising with and reporting to senior management teams.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting sales metrics, budget tracking, and hiring people strategies.
- CRM and Call Centre technology experience an advantage.
- Enjoys working in a targeted sales environment.
- You enjoy autonomy to bring new ideas to motivate and inspire your team.
- Flexible to be office-based in Leeds as required.
