The Museum of London is embarking upon one of the most exciting cultural projects in London for a generation; the creation of an entirely new museum in Smithfield, due to open its doors in 2026. Major support has already been secured from the City of London and the Mayor of London as well as £45m from individuals, trusts and foundations and corporate supporters.
As innovative designs for the new museum develop we are now expanding the team to help raise the remaining funds required to complete the project, as well as secure the funding needed to enhance our Docklands site and deliver strategic projects during this exciting phase of transformation. We are recruiting for a Campaign Manager to oversee the project management of the new museum capital appeal as well as other key fundraising campaigns and administration.
Reporting into the Head of Campaign Operations and working alongside a growing team of skilled fundraisers, the Campaign Manager will play an instrumental role in the management of fundraising campaigns. This will include managing pipeline reports for donor prospects, financial reporting and budget management, ensuring information flow to and from the team, providing briefing documents for meetings and events and assisting with the smooth running of the department.
