Location: Stratford w/ high-flex (1 - 2 days per week in the office)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Campaigns Manager (maternity cover) to lead our Campaigns team. We're looking for someone who is proactive, creative and experienced in building strong relationships and committed to ensuring that cancer is a key priority for all political parties ahead of the next General Election.
What will I be doing?
Ensuring that improving cancer outcomes remains a key policy and political priority by leading the public facing policy campaigning function for Cancer Research UK. This includes national high-profile activity on our Smokefree UK campaign and on work ahead of the expected General Election this year. Working closely with the Ambassador Manager and Public Affairs Managers to effectively support and engage Cancer Research UK volunteers in key campaign activity. Managing and leading the campaigns team and building effective internal and external networks to support Cancer Research UK's goals. Leading and driving the maximisation of digital channels to improve effectiveness of our campaigns and engagement with our supporters. What skills are you looking for?
Strong experience of designing, planning, delivering and evaluating campaigns Demonstrable line management, team leadership and volunteer engagement experience Experience of budget management, agency relations and stakeholder engagement Previous experience in, or exposure to, Government, the health service and/or science and research environments is beneficial but not essential Ability to write persuasive, compelling and punchy comms A passion for politics, current affairs and improving people's lives.
