A growing Education Institution specialising in innovative education within STEM subjects, is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join as a Campus Facilities Manager.
As the Campus Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Campus, equipped with specialist facilities. Responsible for health and safety compliance, you will identify key interventions and implement innovative strategies to enhance the overall experience for students and staff. Collaborating with technical staff, you will oversee the assurance requirements for our state-of-the-art facilities, contributing to the dynamic environment that fosters creativity and practical solutions. With a focus on both hard and soft facilities management functions, you will lead a small team, manage campus infrastructure, and contribute to the organisations mission and values. This is a hands-on role that requires a highly organised and enthusiastic Facilities professional with a commitment to proactive, approachable, and self-managed work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage KPIs and SLAs for contracts, ensuring compliance
- Coordinate planned maintenance programs and manage repairs
- Ensure statutory compliance in building and health & safety
- Budget management for maintenance and works orders
- Provide technical advice to staff managing projects on campus
- Champion an appropriate health and safety culture
- Investigate accidents and recommend operational changes
- Organize regular health & safety committee meetings
- Serve as the focal point for fire safety legislation, conducting risk assessments
This role is being offered on a permanent basis with a salary of £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience.
