Requirements

What’s the purpose of this role?
We're seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Capacity Planner to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for forecasting, planning, and managing the capacity and resources required to support our Client Service operations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our Client Service team has the appropriate resources to meet client demands and achieve business objectives.
You'll be responsible for:

  • Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain capacity plans to ensure that the sales team can meet current and future client demands. Analyse historical data and forecast future workload to determine resource requirements.
  • Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the Director of Sales and other stakeholders to allocate resources effectively, balancing workloads and optimising the use of personnel and tools. A proactive approach to resource planning ahead of time is key here.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise data analysis and statistical methods to predict sales trends, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on capacity utilisation, forecasting accuracy, adherence, and resource allocation. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within Capacity Planning and resource management. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to capacity and resource allocation. Develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks and ensure continuity of operations.

    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and statistical methods.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is a new role to our business, so a self-starter mentality/experience of building/creating frameworks is needed.
    • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in Capacity Planning tools and software (e.g., MS Excel, ERP/WFM systems).
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
