Capital Finance Manager, Band 6

The post holder will provide capital support to business areas on the management, monitoring and reporting on the financial performance on specific capital programmes within BSO to manage projected position to achieve financial break-even and completion of projects. The post holder will assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for BSO and BSO clients in relation to capital and in accordance with the DoH guidance and timescales, ensuring appropriate records are maintained to support audit and reporting requirements in accordance with best practice. The post holder will assist in provision of assurances on the capital accounting and reporting for the Departmental returns and BSO Board report on all BSO capital programmes. They will provide capital accounting service for the BSO clients which are delivered to strict monthly SLA deadlines to include asset management reporting..

Part qualified Accountant under one of the 5 professional accounting institutes within the CCAB accountancy qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, CP Or fully qualified Accounting Technician

Have worked with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation to achieve successful outcomes
