As we continue to grow, ABL 1 Touch are looking to recruit Car Transporter Driverto join their Team based in Aylesford.
As a Car Transporter Driver, you will collect and deliver, load & unload motor vehicles to/from repair centres. You will drive a 6 Vehicle Transporter.
Responsibilities of a Car Transporter Driver will include:
- Load and secure vehicles
- The inspection, collection and delivery of customer vehicles.
- Co-ordinate the deliveries and communicate with site managers in a timely manner
- Conduct regular “walk-around” inspections to ensure regulation compliance.
- Vehicle Maintenance – this will be your duty to ensure that the vehicle is road worthy.
Skills and experience required as a Car Transporter Driver:
- C+E (Class 1) HGV drivers’ licence
- Drivers Tacho Card
- Drivers CPC Card
- Diligent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility.
- Good communication
- Great organisation skills
