Role: Care Assistant
Location: Underley Garden School, Kirkby Lonsdale
Salary: Up to £30,686.40 per annum (inclusive of 8 sleep-in payments per month, dependant on experience/qualifications)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, 2 week rota)

- Unqualified Care Worker: £23,940.80 per annum
- Qualified Care Worker: £25,646.40 per annum
- Sleep-ins paid at £52.50 per night

The Opportunity
Options Autism, part of Outcomes First Group, are recruiting Care Assistants to join our team in in Kirkby Lonsdale.
Our next Care Assistant will be someone who has:

Some of your duties would be as follows
- Supporting the occupants to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
- Creating fun and fulfilling days with occupants to enjoy and explore their hobbies.
- Undertaking household tasks
- Supporting individuals to develop independent life skills
- Safeguarding of occupants at all times
- Accurate record keeping
The Location
Located near the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale on the edge of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Underley Garden is an Independent Special School and Accommodation. We are Specialists in Education, Care and Therapy for young people with autistic spectrum conditions, learning difficulties, complex behaviour associated with autism and anxiety and mental health needs.
The school and accommodation provide for young people between the ages of 5-19. The school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in April 2022. During their latest inspection, the accommodation was judged Good.
We are located in Kirkby Lonsdale and are within commuting distance from Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal and other surrounding towns and villages.
