Broadacres Care Home is a 50 bedded Care Home for individuals over 65 years catering for Residential and Residential EMI.
We are currently looking for a well established Healthcare Assistant, with a good track record of working within a Care Environment. You will be positive, energetic and have a passion for good quality care, working as a team and working with the Home Manager.
You will have or be working towards your Level 2 in Health and Social Care and have a good track record of previous training. You will have worked with Individuals who have diagnosis' of Dementia, and have attended Dementia related training.
The Role Itself:
- Providing personal care and support to individuals with a multitude of conditions.
- You will be competent in the documentation of care and support given, as well as completing of daily care and support notes/charts and other.
- You will work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
- Provide a high standard of care, and promote dignity and choice at all times.
- You will have experience of providing activities and stimulation to the service users in our care.
- You will be professional in attitude, and promote the home.
- You will have experience of safeguarding, and have the appropriate training.
- You will have experience of liaising with external professionals who visit the home.
- You will have a knowledge of care conditions, and the support required.
- You will have a good work ethic, and be hard working and willing to improve your own personal development and skills.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be joining a well established Company and Home, and be joining an already formed team.
Hours: 33 Hours per week, 12 hour shifts - 19:30 - 07:30. Including alternative weekend work, and the possibility of day work in the event of annual leave.

Pay: £11.40-£17.16 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
