SalaryCare Assistant: Experience is not essential, full in-house training provided in our Gillingham office.
Hours of availability: 3 Weekends per month (work Friday, Saturday and Sunday either early or late plus one full weekend off every month).
Location: Gillingham, Chatham, or Rochester (our intention is to keep you close to your local area within Medway, Kent)
Hourly Rate: £13.15 per hour minimum + mileage (£14.00 after 7pm weekdays and weekends - enhanced rates during bank holidays).

OK, what do you need FROM me?
Our clients lead busy lives and place a great deal of trust in us to take care of their loved ones. For these reasons and as you would expect, it is important to us that each member of our team is:
- Caring
- Honest
- Reliable
In addition to the above, we require our team to:
- Be able to work 3 weekends each month
- Have a full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Have access to your own vehicle - This role is not suitable for non-drivers
- Already live in Medway
- Have a right to work in the UK - we can only accept applications from within the UK
- Be prepared to go through our 3-day induction training at our Gillingham office
Sounds interesting, but what tasks will I do?
Our clients depend on our team of dedicated CareGivers to help and support them with the activities of daily living in their own homes. Typical tasks include:
- Companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc)
- Medication assistance
- Personal care (minimal assistance is all that is sometimes needed)
- Assisting clients living with Dementia
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
