Care Assistant / Mini Bus Driver

We have an excellent opportunity for the role of Care Assistant / Mini Bus Driver to join our team here at Wellgate based at our Care Home in Folkestone.

We want to hear from you if you have previous experience of working in care and a D1 license to drive a Mini bus to take our residents on fun days out!

The location:

We have well established residential services in the Folkestone & New Romney area where we support people with physical and learning disabilities.

Role:Care Assistant / Mini Bus Driver

Contract: Full Time Rolling Rota - 35 hours per week - includes some weekends and bank holidays

Pay: £11.44 an hour

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving our service users to different locations in the community.
• Able to communicate effectively and work well with our care staff and management team.
• Provide support to residents with eating/drinking.
• Continence care.
• Providing Personal Care to residents
• Maintaining Vehicles
