Care Assistant (Nights)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Night Care Assistant at Whitegates Residential Care Home, you'll help residents feel safe by remaining awake throughout the night and making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve.

You'll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship - and sharing great moments and memories too.

It's a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. Every night will be different, so you can expect to undertake work that's as varied as it is rewarding.

Assist clients with personal care as per their individual care plans, encouraging independence privacy and dignity.

Act as a Key worker to an allocated resident.

Ensure that residents are safe and cared for at all times.

Our night shifts are 12 hour shifts 8pm-8am.

Job Purpose:

To contribute with other staff, in meeting the care and support needs of all residents by respecting their rights to choice, dignity, privacy and independence.

To assist in securing and sustaining the home for residents, by ensuring a caring and safe environment through the highest standards of professional practice.

To assist the Managers, Owners and Senior Care Assistants in ensuring that each resident receives appropriate care and support based on their individual assessed needs.

To carry out other duties as and when required.
