Care Worker
Whittlesey
Hourly rate increasing to £12.00 an hour as of 1st April, plus great company benefits.
Due to increase in hours required we are looking for a Care Worker to join our team!

About the Role:
Care Workers really make a difference to the lives or our service users, offering a highly personal service you will be helping to enable people to live as independently as possible in their own home, by providing the best standards of care and support.
Whittlesey is based in one location, so a driving license for this role is not essential.
- Assisting with all elements of personal care, to ensure service users are supported in being as independent as possible in preparation for their day ahead
- Assisting service users with getting washed and dressed, preparing meals, prompting and assistance with taking medication
- Light household tasks
- Offering companionship and helping build service users confidence and independence
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears- does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
Role Criteria:
- Successful candidates must be willing to work alternate weekends, as well as 2 evenings per week
- No previous experience is required, full training will be provided.
- Practical subject such as cooking and household responsibilities
- Health and safety; moving and handling
