Fantastic family run, very homely, welcoming, purpose built Care Home close to the town centre of Waterlooville, Hampshire are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader - Nights.
You will be responsible for developing and supervising a team of Care Assistants on each shift, ensuring they are providing high quality care and support to our elderly residents with dementia. You will support the service users to live their life the way they choose as far as they are able. Respect service users choices and always promote their dignity and privacy.
Ideal applicant will be providing some personal care and hygiene, moving and handling, experience of administering medication / MAR Charts is essential, ability to assess residents Health & Wellbeing daily, ability to update Care Plans and Liaise with GP s, District Nurses, Social Workers, family members and residents is important.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the requirements of CQC policies and procedures, experience of doing staff supervisions, care staff competences is very useful.
Ideal applicant will have NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and a few years experience as a Team Leader or Senior Care Assistant.
