We are currently recruiting for a Carrier Representative to join one of the largest logistics companies globally. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lively and friendly team with the opportunity to develop your career within logistics.
This role is suited to someone with 6-12 months experience within a logistics/transport business, or if you’re eager to learn and want to start a career in logistics.
You’ll be based out of the office in Salford Quays, once you’ve passed probation there is an opportunity for hybrid working.
What you’ll be doing -
- Maintain and grow relationships with carrier accounts
- Research new carriers in the marketplace, generate leads, and build new carrier relationships
- Provide updates to customers and building ongoing relationships
- Understand market trends and seasonality
What we’re looking for -
- Previous experience in a logistics/transport role is preferred but not essential
- Additional European language is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build relationships and work well with others
Hours of work -
- Full time, Monday to Friday office hours
Salary -
- £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
- Salary is dependant on experience
