Together with their network of partners, they provide free support, information, advice, financial assistance and services for horticulturalists and their families experiencing illness, bereavement, family and work issues and problems with money.
They have a real focus on improving the health and wellbeing outcomes of people working in horticulture and have an ambitious preventative strategy to create better futures for people working in horticulture.
They are currently seeking a Caseworker to join our Casework Team in the North West on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide advice, information and support to horticulturalists experiencing challenges and adverse life events.
Working collaboratively with horticulturalists and their families, you will help explore issues and identify, co-ordinate and implement solutions.
You will offer generalist advice across areas such as social care, health, benefits, housing and employment, aiming to build enough confidence for the individual to address these problems personally in the future.
About You
To be considered as a Caseworker, you will need:
- Experience undertaking comprehensive holistic assessments across outcome areas of health, wellbeing, self-care, housing, money, family, relationships, safety and crime
- Experience measuring the impact of interventions delivered
- Experience delivering a telephone helpline or advice service in the community or service users' homes
- Experience of working within safeguarding frameworks
- Good knowledge of legal and welfare issues relating to children and vulnerable adults
- A certificate in Advice and Guidance (or the willingness to gain the qualification during the probationary period)
Please note, this role requires some weekend working and overnight stays, with travel to other parts of the UK for meetings.
