The Governor Support Service are looking for people to attend school governing board meetings and take formal minutes. The majority of the meetings are outside of normal office hours.

We are looking for people who can cover for vacancies/absences by attending school governing board meetings and taking formal minutes.
The majority of the meetings are outside of usual working hours and some meetings may be required at short notice during term time.
The post will involve attending governors’ meetings starting in the late afternoon and evening and last for approximately two hours. Full training and support will be provided by our skilled team to enable you to undertake this role. Payment will be £12.38 per hour for the number of hours worked including attendance at the meeting and production of the formal minutes.
Who are we looking for?An excellent administrator and minute taker, enthusiastic and motivated person is required to join our friendly, highly valued team to support the delivery of effective governance of schools within Coventry and beyond.
It is desirable that the successful candidate has a clean, full driving licence and access to a car.
The post holder will be expected to attend meetings at schools across Coventry and Warwickshire and online as required.
