SalaryOur Client in Ballymena currently seeks a Casual Receptionist based in their Leisure Centre
Hours of work:
Successful candidates will be required to work casual hours per week, Monday to Sunday. Given the nature of their duties, the post holder will be expected to work outside of these hours at weekends, evening and public holidays as dictated by needs of the service.
Rate of pay : £12.18 per hour
Duties include:
1.Provide a courteous, efficient and effective reception service in line with the Centre’s objective of providing quality service to customers.
1.2 Implement emergency procedures, medical, fire alarm, pool alarm etc, in accordance with Seven Towers Leisure Centre’s Normal Operating Procedures (NOP’s) and Emergency Action Plans (EAP’s)
1.3 Control and monitor lighting for various areas within the leisure Centre.
1.4 Operate computerised bookings and point of sale system and issue relevant tickets to users for both Seven Towers Leisure Centre and Sentry Hill.
1.5 Ensure authorisation of issued refunds and complementary vouchers when required.
1.6 Amalgamate, balance and verify daily facilities cash, cheques, visa etc and complete appropriate documentation in accordance with standard procedures.
1.7 Check, prepare and make up till floats in accordance with centre procedures.
Essential Criteria:
GCSE Maths and English Language (Grade C or above)
AND
Be able to demonstrate by providing personal and specific examples, that they have
- Six months clerical experience in a customer focused environment and;
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience of using Microsoft Office
Or as an alternative candidates who do not possess the required educational qualifications but who can demonstrate 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar role may be considered.
It is essential to possess a minimum of RSA Stage II (Parts 1 and 2) Word processing, or equivalent.
