An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our Staff Development Team on a temporary basis, within the Human Resources Department.
As Staff Development Administrator you will be responsible for the effective administration of the RVC’s Staff Development Programme.
In this exciting role, you will work closely with the Staff Development Manager and wider HR team to provide a smooth and friendly service to RVC staff to enable a range of learning, helping the RVC and our people to evolve innovate and improve. This will include tasks such as: advertising learning opportunities, liaising with consultants, processing bookings, sending joining instructions, keeping records, collating information to produce reports, advising on our appraisal and e-learning systems, and contributing to Staff Development projects.
You will be able to plan monitor and take proactive action while keeping abreast of multiple strands of work, have clear tailored communication, be able to build positive relationships with people at all levels, and have excellent IT skills using a range of software and systems. Above all, you will be a team player with an enthusiasm for Staff Development, and the confidence (after training) to take responsibility for this important contribution to learning at this world-class higher education institution.
The post is a temporary role for a period of 4 months (from April 1st until July 31st).
