POSITION: HOMEGROUND SUPPORT WORKER - CASUAL
LOCATION: LIVERPOOL
SALARY: £12 per hour
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To support young people to increase resilience and achieve resettlement within the community or other appropriate accommodation settings. To improve and increase young peoples living and general life skills through use of local solutions tools and resources including resettlement passport and life skills units.
To support and navigate young peoples journey through homelessness by utilising Local Solutions psychological approach to support provision
SCOPE OF ROLE
Build positive relationships with young people and team members ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Follow local solutions psychological approach to support delivery considering the 5 pillars of the PIE framework. Which is adhere to the psychological framework, manage all client relationships, attend all training, contribute to reflective practice sessions, compile, and submit all data for evaluation as agreed.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
o Deliver regular weekly support meetings with all young people assigned to caseload.
o Ensure all young peoples assigned to caseload are supported to live safely within their room allocation through regular H&S checks.
o Ensure all young people assigned to caseloads accommodation bids are monitored and updated through property pool checks at support sessions.
o Ensure positive relationship are built and managed with all young people accommodated at the homeground project.
o Ensure all young people assigned to case load are referred to appropriate young people activities such as AIMS, sports horizons and water sports.
o Ensure you manage link work with assigned night project worker.
o Attend and deliver appropriate handover including completing all financial procedures/checks
o Attend team meetings when required
o Attend supervision when required
o Complete PDR prep annually then attend PDR meeting with line manager
