Your new job working as an a Account Manager ( Technician) will be working for a privately-owned Global Lloyd's Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the City. They have a dedicated team of over 5000 associates and prides themselves on having an entrepreneurial cultural that their clients benefit from. Due to continued successful growth within their International Casualty team, they are looking to recruit an Account Manager ( Broker support Technician) to join their team where you will be handling International and NA Casualty business
Your new role
Your new role working as an Account Manager will be handling a mix of Casualty classes where you will be providing Technical support to the Placing Brokers in the Casualty teams. Within this role you will be responsible for the provision of day-to-day account management and servicing of our client's insurance programmes to support the retention and development of the business. Other duties will include obtaining quotes, managing the new business pipeline and timely management of all renewals. Additional key role responsibilities will include: preparing Client and London market documentation, to include the creation of London market slips, endorsements, as well as the preparing submissions and broking presentations for the Market. You will work closely with the broking teams to prioritise as well as provide support to our lead brokers. You will liaise extensively and build relationships with London and overseas markets on allocated accounts. A good understanding of International taxes and legal considerations would be advantageous.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previously experience working as a Technician or Account Manager within the London Market as an Account Manager/Technician or Broker Support Technician handling casualty risks will contribute to the success in you securing this role. A good understanding of Casualty clauses and wordings would be advantageous will have the ability to prepare London market MRC slips and endorsements. You will be able to work 3 days in the office (as a minimum) , some previous experience of brokasure system would be beneficial but not essential and a working knowledge of PPL process would be beneficial.
