Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is looking for a Product Manager to join the Operational Excellence team, focusing on Selection and Catalogue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for process improvement, good project management skills, experience interfacing with external parties (e.g. Vendors, Sellers, B2B customers), relationship building skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
The team:Amazon Vendor Services team (AVS) develops programs to disproportionately grow vendors on Amazon and seeks to continuously enhance its value proposition to vendors. One of the new programs is the AVS Catalogue Experts, a specialized team to support Retail vendors to improve selection management on Amazon.
The role: As a Catalogue Expert PM you will be accountable to deliver a dedicated service to a set of vendors across EU to improve their experience on catalogue management. You will become experts in catalogue management, with your Team Leader support you will be accountable to roll out the service to reach specific program goals, to track progresses and work with an offshore team to execute improvements at vendor level. In addition, you will work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. AVS Managers, Vendor Management, Supply Chain, Finance) to continuously improve the service and drive scalable processes/system improvements to eliminate catalogue and financial defects.
Key job responsibilities
  • Analyse catalogue defects and identify root causes for financial deductions, define joint action plan with the Vendor on how to prevent.
  • Scale defect identification and resolution to set up and manage sprints to improve catalogue quality.
  • Work on cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders related to new process creation and improvement of your work (e.g. facilitating better communication between teams, creating new tools and efficiency through offshoring of simple workflows)
  • Travel within EU might be required for this role
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
London, GBR
  • Experience in data analysis and project management
  • Basic SQL and Advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of supply chain processes
  • Fluency in one additional European language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Spanish
