As part of their 2024 development and investment Marketing team strategy, they are looking to recruit a highly talented Category & Insight Manager.
THE ROLE
This is an exciting role that sits in the heart of the Sales & Marketing team, with total responsibility for managing all consumer and shopper insights and category management processes working across two of their core product categories.
Your key objectives will involve becoming the master of all consumer-led category trends and developing the product-led category vision, as well as major customer category strategies and selling stories for the National Account team.
Additionally, you will take the lead in shaping consumer research activities, which together with ongoing insight data, will shape future innovation NPD strategies with both own-label and brand-led products.
ABOUT YOU
Firstly, you love numbers, data and all things analysis… but more than that, you love and have a talent for interpreting the trends that build strong category strategies and creative stories, inspiring internal teams and influencing the major grocery retail multiples category development product listing, merchandising and promotional plans.
Having built your career in the FMCG industry, you are looking for a broad-based role involving both insight and category management functions where you can shape strategies that will make a real difference to the company’s future business growth objectives.
You are currently working as an Insight Manager or in a Category Executive/Manager role with at least 3 years’ experience and have the motivation and ability to step up into this exciting and highly impactful role.
