We are partnered with a leading global insurance firm who are looking for a experienced IT Professional ServicesCategory Manager to come and join their team. You will lead on category strategy development, execution and end to end procurement across IT Professional Services, IT services, offshoring and outsourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and execute strategic supplier commercial and contractual initiatives
• Support tactical and strategic sourcing projects
• Conduct IT market analysis, on strategic suppliers and alternative market leading vendors
• Deliver cost optimisation and other value add benefits
• Build effective relationships with all stakeholders on local and global level through proactive engagement

You Should Apply if You:

• Have extensive IT Service and IT Professional Services category management experience
• Strategic IT Procurement experience, preferably in a corporate environment, including sourcing, preparation and execution of tenders from identifying requirement through the cycle to renewal/ retender.
• Experienced in senior stakeholder management.
• Proven track record of identifying and delivering cost savings and other added value.
• Excellent negotiation skills
