Our facilities Management expertise keeps our sites running smoothly, while our Property Services ensure that client infrastructure and equipment is well cared for.We are now seeking an organised and conscientious Catering Manager to oversee the operational running of all functions in the Super Diner which serves as a social hub and dining facility for all service members at St Omer Barracks JRD.This is a large operation that prepares and serves up to 1000 covers per sitting per day from a pre-set rolling menu 365 days per year.With proven experience in catering, hotel or hospitality management and a Level 2 NVQ qualification in catering, you will put people and customer service at the heart of everything you do. The Diner is more than an eatery for our forces it’s home.Leading from the front, you will have direct management responsibility overseeing two head chefs, one chef supervisor and front of house supervisors and will also be expected to undertake:Health and Safety (including risk assessments and allergen checks)Stock ControlAuditsStaff trainingYou will have high standards and the proven experience to lead by example with credibility and conducting yourself with integrity at all times in line with the expectation of the Military Personnel based upon site.Though this role will be Monday to Friday there is an expectation to be flexible to cover both early and late shifts occasionally.For full details please see the job description.Package DescriptionWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
