Catering Manager

Aspire Care and Support specialises in supporting people living with dementia, disabilities, and learning disabilities, in Salford and the surrounding area. We offer a range of support including daycare opportunities, supported living, and respite care across various sites.
We are currently seeking a new creative and experienced Catering Manager, to oversee all catering operations across our multiple sites in Salford. This role is primarily Monday – Friday, during daytime hours, a rare find in the catering industry!
You will be outgoing, friendly, and driven to ensure an outstanding customer experience through effective leadership of the catering service and teams across the organisation.
You will have excellent organisation and communication skills, be innovative and creative, and will have previous experience in running multi-site catering operations.
Your main areas of responsibility will be:
Day-to-day management and supervision of the catering service teams.
Deliver a catering service that meets operational standards and complies with food safety and other relevant legislation.
Monitor and maximise the catering units’ financial performance.
Develop and implement effective policies and plans within the catering service.
Drive the ongoing improvement and business development of the catering service.
You will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
Level 3 Food Safety Qualification.
Previous experience of managing a catering service.
Occasional evening / weekend work may be required, in line with our events programme, these are infrequent but please feel free to contact us to find out more.
