Catering Sous Chef 

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 

Currently collaborating with a swiftly expanding hospitality group actively seeking a Catering Sous Chef.
With nationwide locations, this group is recognized for its environmentally conscious sourcing practices and commitment to crafting dishes from scratch, utilizing fresh and locally sourced ingredients.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage and lead a team of line cooks and prep cooks, ensuring that all kitchen staff are trained and operating at the highest level
• Preparation and cooking of menu items
• Assisting with planning and creating menu items
• Roll out new culinary programs
• Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment and ensure that all food safety standards are met or exceeded

Requirements:

• At least 5 years culinary experience, with 1 year management experience
• Thorough knowledge of food and industry trends  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of culinary professionals
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
