Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a female in my early 40s living in Pentwyn area of Cardiff. I have borderline personality disorder and Fibromyalgia. I love cats and I am a practising Christian. I love art, writing and crafts.
PURPOSE OF JOB
I need support with activities within my home as well as accessing the local community including respite.
PLACE OF WORK
Pentwyn, Cardiff City Centre, Canton.
HOURS OF WORK
3 hours a week, weekday afternoons or Sunday Mornings.
RATE OF PAY
£12.50 per hour
TASKS INVOLVED
Social outings, community and church activities, help with Medication and toileting need. Supporting me with mobility and mental health concerns.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
Essential qualities
● Reliable and punctual.
● Able to respect my privacy and confidentiality.
● Have common sense and initiative.
● Patient and friendly.
● Comfortable with Christian (Anglican) faith but not required to practice.
● Full driving licence.
● Flexible and adaptable to meet my needs.
Desirable qualities
● Similar leisure interests.
ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
