Whittington Park Community Association
Recruitment of a new Centre Manager
Background
Whittington Park Community Association is an independent charitable organisation, based in North Islington, founded by volunteers in 1974 and overseen by a board of local trustees. The current manager is retiring after 12 years service, during which time she has overseen the major refurbishment of our main halls.
The Centre is a busy and vibrant part of the community, hosting a variety of activities, including a youth club, over 55’s lunch club, under 5’s hub and many wellbeing activities, classes and support groups.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a valued community organisation and lead a dedicated team. If you are a proficient manager who is also hand-on this could be the ideal role for you. You will bring strengths and insight to your work, particularly operational excellence, sound financial acumen and effective partnership building skills. You will have a solid track record of working successfully in the charity sector. And you will relish the opportunity provided by the newly refurbished halls and spaces.
