Our client, a leading company in the renewable energy sector, is currently seeking a Certification Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position within the Offshore Wind industry.
- Manage the day-to-day certification process
- Implement the project certification strategy
- Liaise with the Certifier and third parties
- Incorporate suitable certification requirements in Employer Requirements
- Familiarize the Engineering team with certification requirements
- Certification plan
- Certification tracker
- Certifiers approval
- Successfully completed university degree in the domain of technology or engineering
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the renewable energy business
- High level understanding of the purpose and process of Certification for offshore wind farms
- Familiarity with high level industry standards
- Interdisciplinary and creative mindset, ability to work independently and proactively
- Excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to understand the certification aspects of topics from a broad spectrum of technical disciplines
- Proven project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in understanding a broad range of complex topics and explain them in a variety of stakeholder contexts
