Chair of the Board of Trustees
Voluntary Role - Expenses Paid
Term – 3 years
Commitment – Circa 90 - 110 hours, annualised
Our client is a collaborative, vibrant and values-led mental health charity in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire. They support local people in their recovery from mental health issues and promote positive wellbeing across their communities.
This charity is currently recruiting to the voluntary role of Chair. They are seeking a strategic leader who is passionate about meeting the mental health needs of our diverse population, with the experience to lead their multi-skilled Board of Trustees into a new phase of strategic development.
The charity has grown significantly in recent years, currently supporting more than 4,800 people per year; with services ranging from open access wellbeing activities through to out of hours mental health crisis support. They have increased their reach and accessibility, in line with the organisational strategy for 2022-25. However, with the population’s mental health under pressure like never before, they want to do more.
Therefore, the charity is seeking a Chair who has the time and motivation to lead the conversations that will support their continued development; setting their strategic direction for 2025 and beyond.
As the new Chair, you will be a collaborative, strategic thinker who aligns personally with their values of Respect, Inclusivity, Courage, Compassion, Integrity and Empowerment. You will already have strong chairing skills and, ideally, charity trustee experience.
If you possess the skills, experience and qualities they are looking for then they would love to hear from you.
Closing date: 19 February 2024
